Before I began my student teaching, I was lucky enough to have already met my future students, but I still felt it was necessary to introduce myself to the parents.
Parents are part of the team too and they need to know who you are, why you are there, and most importantly what qualifies you to be their student's teacher. After reading a few blogs, questions posted, etc. I drafted this letter to send to my students' parents:
